Overview
Robot Maker Toolkit puts a maker's essential reference and calculators in one fast, offline app — module pinouts, board specs, common shields, and the electronics maths you reach for at the bench. It's free and ad-supported, with an optional one-time Pro upgrade to remove ads.
01 The challenge
- Reference is scattered. Makers juggle datasheets, forum posts and half-remembered pinouts across a dozen browser tabs.
- The bench is often offline. Garages, classrooms and maker spaces — you can't rely on a connection mid-build.
- It has to be fast and free. Hobbyists won't pay upfront for a reference tool, so the model had to be free with ads and a fair, optional upgrade.

- Native Android. Built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for a fast, modern UI.
- Everything bundled in-app. The full reference catalog and calculators ship inside the app, so it's instant and works with no connection.
- Fair, unobtrusive monetization. A free tier with Google AdMob (regional consent handled via Google's User Messaging Platform), and a one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play Billing that removes ads — no subscriptions.
- Privacy-conscious. No accounts, no analytics, no servers — the app itself collects nothing about you.
