Blobs & zits

Small bumps or blemishes on the surface, usually where the nozzle starts or stops a perimeter.

Likely causes, most likely first

1. Pressure built up in the nozzle at layer changes
2. Retraction 'extra restart' adding material
3. Seam placed on a visible face

Fixes to try

• Enable pressure/linear advance if your firmware supports it
• Enable coasting and wipe in the slicer
• Set the seam to a corner or 'hidden' alignment
• Reduce extra restart distance to zero
