Ghosting / ringing

Faint echoes or ripples in the surface just after sharp corners (also called ringing).

Likely causes, most likely first

1. Acceleration or jerk too high
2. Loose belts
3. Flexible frame or tall wobbly print
4. Outer walls printed too fast

Fixes to try

• Lower acceleration and jerk
• Tension the belts
• Stiffen / secure the frame; brace tall prints
• Slow down the outer walls
• Enable input shaping if available
