TPU (95A) print settings
Rubbery and near-unbreakable. Prints slowly and hates Bowden tubes.
Nozzle 220–235 °C
Bed 30–50 °C
Part cooling 30–60 %
Enclosure Not needed
Drying 50 °C for 6 h
Shrinkage Minimal — too soft to build meaningful internal stress
Density 1.21 g/cm³
Enclosure: Prints fine in open air.
Bed surface & adhesion
Clean PEI holds it well. Skip the glue — removal is already hard enough.
Retraction starting points
Direct drive 0–1 mm
Bowden 0–1 mm
Retraction speed 15–25 mm/s
Flexible filament — minimise retraction and print slowly; a direct-drive extruder is strongly preferred over Bowden.
Good for
Gaskets, seals, phone cases, tyres, feet and bumpers Parts that must survive being crushed or bent flat
Watch out for
Print slowly — 15–30 mm/s; faster and the filament buckles instead of feeding Direct drive strongly preferred; Bowden setups jam at the extruder gear Retraction near zero — pulling soft filament back just tangles it

These are widely-published starting points for the generic material, not a specification. Individual spools vary by brand, colour and additive package — always defer to the figures printed on your spool.
