Retraction speed 25–45 mm/s
Forgiving — start mid-range and fine-tune with a retraction test tower.
Good for
Decorative pieces — it sands, stains and smells like wood Colour variation: printing hotter darkens the finish
Watch out for
Mildly abrasive — hardened nozzle recommended for more than the odd print Wood particles clog 0.4 mm nozzles; 0.6 mm is much safer Weaker and more brittle than plain PLA — decorative, not structural Density swings with wood content — take it from the spool before costing a print
